Before Stem Cell therapy
I was taking Aricept and gradually losing my ability to think clearly or remember names, dates and current information. I went into a drug study which helped somewhat. I have had Alzheimer's for 12 years. My daughter Laura and son Joseph found out about the Stem Cell treatment in Cologne and I had my First Stem Cell treatment in 2008. I had my Second Stem Cell treatment 7 months later in November 2009.
My Experience at the Clinic
Germany is really a wonderful place and the people are very warm and friendly. The country is beautiful and the architecture is amazing! I found the transportation provided by the X-cell center was very efficient. When I return again, I will use the private transportation that they provide.
The facility in Cologne Germany was an extremely clean hospital. The staff was very cordial and hospitable. The procedure was performed by the most competent doctors. You can tell this when they explain the procedure to you before hand. They answered all questions and spent as much time as you wanted, answering all of your concerns. They made you feel safe, which was important to me and my family.
My Results
Although my short term memory improved only slightly, I have retained many skills. Dressing, makeup, reading, identifying pictures, numbers and some writing with supervision. I can still converse, although I have trouble with finding some words. I still help prepare dinner and fold clothes. I make my bed and walk everyday. I believe the Stem Cell treatment slowed the time frame of my deterioration. It has given me more time with my family.

Treatment Evaluation Process
In order to be evaluated for treatment, patients must complete an online medical history form. Once you've completed the online medical history and submitted it, a patient relations consultant will contact you. He or she will assist you with the rest of the evaluation process. Upon treatment approval, your consultant will also assist you with treatment scheduling and trip preparation.
